National Nachos Day - November 6th

Had unsalted nachos with medium salsa for a snack, a few days ago. Better for me than some other snacks I shouldn't have!

That looks so yummy, wish I had planned ahead but I have no nacho makings. I am making a slow-cooker pot of chili today, maybe that counts a little bit.

I love them but hate those little rounds of hot peppers they put on top. At least they are easy to spot and pick off.

Jalapenos? I can't even eat those; they are too hot. On the other hand, my middle sister loves them and has to have jalapenos with many meals. I was the odd one born to my mother; in that I don't enjoy the foods my siblings like. I could never, ever eat menudo, for instance. That is one nasty dish.
