If there ever was a day that we needed, a National Personal Space Day was it! It sounds so much better than a national “leave me alone” or “get out of my face” day, too!

Different ethnic groups have different ideas about "Personal space " and how big or small it is. I found that out one time when I was getting on an elevator at a large Toronto hotel. I was followed on by almost an entire tour bus of Chinese tourists. At least 25 of them tried to squeeze into that elevator car ( which would normally hold at most 8 people ). I was pinned to the back wall of the elevator until they all got out at the observation deck on the top floor. JimB.
