National Scrapple Day - November 9h

I'm well aware that I may be alone in this, but I like scrapple and I'm so glad I'm in an area where my stores and meat markets carry it. Should have bought some while at the store yesterday, but I didn't know today would be its special day.

I seem to recall that we were fed scrapple when I was a snot nosed little kid....cannot say what it tastes like tho.....

It's pork scraps of meat, cornmeal, and spices... fried until there's a nice crust on it, and then (at least on my plate) served with syrup.
