Netfix: Do you re-watch?

Like a good book that deserves re-reading I'm not bashful about re-watching a series I liked, in some cases multiple re-watches. I always find details about the story I hadn't notices on the first viewing, details that really enhances a better understanding and adds depth. Some details may not be as important, but for me I just gotta know.

Sometimes if they're several years old, we'll unknowingly fire one up, and not realize we've seen it for an episode or two. Generally, and good enough, we'll keep watching it.

As far as watching one again simply because we enjoyed it, we re-watched all seasons of the 24 series (Jack Bauer)-- probably 3 o 4 times. Same with the Fargo series. There have been 2-3 others, but it's been rare.

The only shows that we've re-watched are a couple of comedies. Absolutely Fabulous (British), Kath and Kim (Australian) and anything with Chris Lilley (Australian) come to mind. Not sure they are on Netflix. On Netflix, I have watched stand-up comedians like Jim Gaffigan, Wanda Sykes and Ali Wong more than once.

Unless Dish counts as a streaming service, I don’t have a streaming service and refuse to pay for any of them.

Dish provides my local channels and more channels than I want to watch. I do watch reruns of certain movies. I never grow tired of the old Thin Man movies with William Powell & Myrna Loy on Turner Classic🥰🥰

I will rewatch the Hudson & Rex series on the UP channel. It’s sort of a modern day Rin Tin Tin. I watch it mostly for the dog and his interaction with the other actors. It’s easy to see everyone loves Rex, which the newer episodes have a relative of the original Rex who passed from cancer a few years back.😢💐😢💐

Absolutely. I rewatched Jury Duty on Prime, and a wonderful movie, Past Lives, I think on Netflix. Right now I'm rewatching The Pitt on HBO. If you decide to watch that one (or rewatch it), be careful to ask for it on HBO. No commercials. They're also showing it on Youtube, with ads.

Not on Netflix but I have rewatched The Sopranos many times. I 'm too embarrassed to say :ROFLMAO: . There are a couple of what I consider "Golden" HBO shows that I have rewatched a couple of times including The Wire. Lost is another show I have rewatched. It is kind of my comfort show and will watch random episodes if I can't find anything to watch or just want background noise.

To get back to Netflix, I have rewatched Midnight Mass a few times. I did also rewatch Mindhunter. I am reconsidering rewatching House of Cards but not sure how I would feel about watching it now.
