Is anyone watching this series? It's supposed to be based on real events.

I've made it through Episode 4 but I think I'm going to quit. I don't think I've ever had less sympathy for the so-called victim in my life.

I might skip to the last episode to see how it ends.

I read that a woman who claims to be the "real" real-life stalker is going to sue the author, Netflix and who knows who else. One of her complaints is that the stalker in the series, "Martha" is very fat and she isn't. Apparently she finds that offensive.

I haven't watched it because I cancelled Netflix as I was struggling to find anything on there I wanted to watch.

I have read about Baby Reindeer and it is interesting to read your review as the media has made it sound as though it is the best thing ever. From what I saw on a trailer, I didn't think I would want to watch it.

Incidentally, there was an article online where a woman said that the real life "Martha" stalked her and her family for five years!

The whole thing is dark and depressing and I have an overpowering urge to slap the sh!t out of the main character/"victim" until he straightens up.

she's a nut, she's already been imprisoned before he even met her. She lives a complete fantasy life... her saying she's going to sue is just another of her fantasies...

she is a lawyer... a disbarred lawyer... but she's her own lawyer. She's nuts.. a complete fantasist, and a dangerous one too..

I just added it to my watch list. I don't mind dark as long as it is done well. I got through Razors Edge on HBO and that's about as dark as a drama can get.

Those are the type of comments that I keep seeing so I won’t be watching this show.

I don't have Netflix and probably won't resubscribe for several months. I just saw news coverage about the show. They said "everybody's talking about it" and that now amateur sleuths who are fans of the show are trying to figure out who the real people are. Someone affiliated with the show states he's being harassed because people think he's one of the real people who had done something bad. Here's the GMA clip:

Piers Morgan has dropped the first teaser trailer for his bombshell interview with the 'real-life Martha' from Netflix smash Baby Reindeer.

The interviewer has gone head-to-head with the woman thought to be the stalker who appears in comedian Richard Gadd's hit show.

The 48-year-old woman from Scotland is seeking to 'set the record straight' following the show's phenomenal global success.

But Morgan has already faced a backlash from mental health campaigners and survivors of stalking over his 'irresponsible' decision to interview the woman.

MailOnline had until now chosen not to name and picture her. But following her appearance with Piers Morgan we have decided to publish her picture.

And today, the alleged stalker has hit out at Morgan, saying she felt she had been 'set up' during her appearance on his show.

Piers has now released the 58-second trailer ahead of tonight's broadcast of the show on Piers Morgan Uncensored.

She herself is a lawyer... a disbarred lawyer, because she's nuts. The ''lawyer boyfriend'' most likely doesn't exists except in her mind.. Several people have come forward to say she stalked them before the TV guy... and in fact she spent 4 years in prison...

A row has exploded over a 'highly irresponsible' TV interview with the 'real' Martha from Baby Reindeer.

Shocked viewers said they were 'disturbed' by the programme on Piers Morgan Uncensored, which they branded a 'painful watch'.

Baby Reindeer's 'Martha' tonight revealed her real name was Fiona Harvey - but furiously denied stalking comic Richard Gadd and said she would take Netflix to court over the drama.

In a bombshell interview Ms Harvey, 58, said she had only met the comedian three times and when quizzed on the content of some of the messages she admitted sending him called them 'jokey banter'

The Scottish woman went on to say she wanted to 'set the record straight' following the Netflix show's phenomenal global success and trolls contacting her online after it began streaming.

However, she denied sending him 41,000 emails and scores of tweets and claimed instead it was more like just ten messages and one letter sent by post.

In the wide-ranging interview with Piers Morgan, she revealed details of her 'impoverished' upbringing and that she was in a five-year relationship with a male lawyer.
One viewer, called Sarah Lucy, wrote on X: 'I'm disturbed watching the Piers Morgan interview with Fiona Harvey.

'It's deeply troubling to see her obvious mental health struggles exploited for sensationalism and poor taste.'

Another social media user, called Lucy, said: 'Fiona Harvey's fixed beliefs and delusions are clear signs of severe mental health issues to anybody that works within this field.
