Never Bite the Hand that Feeds You!

That is the lesson I learned at a very young age. Unfortunately, this doggie never learned this lesson. A bit of a bully dog I think. Oh well, he paid the supreme penalty and is now enjoying his golden dog house up there somewhere in doggie heaven.

These attacks by this breed of dog have become
widespread here, there have been several deaths
lately and there is speculation that they will be
declared illegal to own!

The supporters of them, or do-gooders and anti of
anything are against the ban saying that, they are
usually docile, yet this example is of an elderly woman,
who loved this dog, fed it and walked it is attacked by it.

So every case of this nature, is another nail in the coffin
of this breed of dog.

Previously it was American Pit Bull Terriers, also Staffordshire
terriers.

Unless it's a love bite from kitty kat who's overjoyed at having his breakfast meal of "Surf and Turf" from Whiskas "Turkey and Cod" this morning. There's a huge difference between a love bite and an actual angry bite.

Sorry guys!

Our Prime Minister has announced he will make this Breed illegal by the end of the year...

WE had a Pitbull... he was a rescue at 7 months he'd been badly treated, and I was always very wary of him, altho' he'd never as much as growled at any humans but there was a couple of the dogs he didn't get along with.. and to save go into the long story which I've written about here before.. this was ultimately his downfall... .. at about 8 years old he went in for the attack of our Doberman...injured him seriously and in that attack my daughter got seriously injured not by the Pitbull but by the fall she took while she was holding his leash...

this is him...with me..

The Sanctuary where my dogs are free to romp and roam. An area as large as or larger than a dog park.
And the lengths I go to to protect my dogs. 6-7ft fence all around. No one gets in and no one gets out.
Inside the house are gates to isolate dogs from visitors until everyone has been properly introduced.
My dogs haven't liked most dogs and hate cats.
They may not like you and that's okay. If they don't like you (which is very rare), I don't like you either.
Every dog I've owned here for the past 17yrs, sleeps with me at night. And we sleep well.

I don't know for sure, but I suspect some breeders are intentionally breeding-in more aggression in these ....breeds.

Dogs and cats are being bred for puggier noses, larger eyes, shorter legs....they're creating cartoon pets, and it's disgusting.

Vets are seeing dogs and cats with noses so small they struggle to breathe, hair so long they trip over it, and legs so short the animal's belly scrapes against the floor. And altering their genetics is causing immune disorders, weak organs and even cognitive dysfunction. And it guarantees the animal a shortened life-span.

Buy a stuffed animal if you want a floofy-goofy cartoon pet ffs!

I'm not even a big lover of pets, but this really pisses me off.

Sadly, let me confirm for you, this is absolutely fact. It's happening as I type this. Dog fighting, as a so called sport, still goes on today in the UK. It's been outlawed in forever, but a lack of regulation around home breeding, and the sale of dogs, means the law is irrelevant. I'm sure it's the same in the US.

My only problem with this are the dogs we currently have out there. Some of these breeds, perhaps even most, and beautiful animals, and I hate to have them put down. But as far as new breeding, and new sales to, it should be stopped, with imprisonment and/or heavy heavy fines for doing so when caught.

There are always those among us who haven't managed to evolve from early society, I'm afraid.

Yeah, I've heard it's illegal for Americans to buy "bully" breeds from Mexico. But some do, anyway.

My sister-in-law used to breed and sell Pit Bulls, but the laws and regs got so complex and scary that now she only breeds Pugs.
