New and love to travel!

Eharmony a real drag. Hate to generalize but men are on there to meet a woman, yet most of them don't seem to put the effort into communicating to get to know you. Friend suggested I get on a chat forum for retired people who love to travel. Here I am!
 

Hello Sequoia, from the central California mountains. Glad to have you join us here. Where is your favorite place you've traveled to? In the U.S. my favorite places to visit are FL and Las Vegas. We especially enjoy road trips.
 
Welcome, Sequoia. I agree about Eharmony. Yikes, all those so-called members who join on a free weekend and then never show up again but Eharmony keeps matching you up with them. At least on Match.com you can tell if they're active or not.

I met my boyfriend on-line six years ago, mostly because he said he wanted to travel. And we have, all over the country.
 

Welcome, Sequoia. I am a former airline pilot that has logged over 10,000,000 miles. I prefer to stay home, but my wife likes to travel. So, guess what we do?
 
Welcome, Sequoia. Spent most of my adult life travelling, so I am pretty much a home body now. My wife still loves it, so she goes with her Golden Girls. I did travel to Scotland in 2013 and 2014 and loved everything but the flights.

Oldman, you remind me of my husband. He would come home from working out of town and then I'd want to go on a road trip or to Vegas or Tahoe. :) He was a good sport about it though, most of the time. :)
