New definition for retirement...

My life is much easier being retired than when I was working. My husband was a lot of work both emotionally and physically since he did nothing but make messes.

Now living alone with my dogs it’s easy to keep up with daily tasks and still have lots of time for fun. I still do a little consulting. I am really looking forward to going to Europe in April with a good friend of mine.

If only it didn't come with the added premium of Pain....

Holly you often mention pain. Sorry to hear that you have that too. Is yours just general degeneration following a lifetime of wear and tear? Or did you experience injuries along the way which are coming back to haunt you?

For me I probably brought on some of my back issues by tumbling off of skateboards on the asphalt a few times in my early twenties while playing. But the arthritis in my wrists and thumbs though they might just be in my genes are probably not helped by the amount upkeep I do in the garden.

Hopefully we can get in a good run of decent health and fitness before the discomfort makes it hard to enjoy the ride.
