New Electric Smart Meters May Be Dangerous, Especially To Us!

Speak up if this is causing you issues! The same week the power company installed their new smart meter on the wall outside my bedroom, I began to deal with severe ringing in my ears and dizziness. The only reason I connected these two events was through an internet search about ringing in the ears. http://emfsafetynetwork.org/smart-meters/smart-meter-health-complaints/ . I contacted the power company after I got back from my vacation and was virtually patted on the head like a whining child, told that there was nothing I could do to get my old meter back. While on vacation, the ringing in my ears stopped.
As if we don't have enough health issues and crap to deal with in our advanced years, right? I have looked very diligently for more reliable info on this since we, the virtually powerless, are in the home environment more often than most. Here is a very smart guy's opinion

Just another case of putting people in potential danger so the power companies can save money and charge us more. Another video from California about this aspect Reminder: PG&E was the cause for the Erin Brockovich movie and they have already killed many people!!!

People Taking Action and the companies reaction!

I find that news surprising because we have had smart meters on homes around this area (Houston) for years now.
Have never heard of any complaints of health issues with them.
We have so many choices of electric power companies to choose from, that if your bill goes up, just switch companies.
Power is fairly cheap around here.
They can monitor service when temperatures get high in the summer, like days of 100+ , but that is a rare occurrence, and they always warn people ahead of time that there might be brownouts. ... Last year they warned, but never followed through with any.

As for the old style meters, I don't miss them because it was a monthly nuisance to have meter readers jump the backyard fence (my backyard gates stay locked because I have dogs, and I live alone) and they would either scare me or the dogs to death with their bursting in surprises! .. I truly hated that. ..

And meter readers were also known for carrying "treats" for dogs if they felt animals could be a hinderance in getting to the meter. I wasn't about to have any of my dogs sedated or worse.

Also, the way things are these days, if someone comes into a backyard unannounced, they could easily be shot.

As far as hearing about the dangers goes, I never did until the health issues popped up after installation. Too much of a coincidence that was verified to me when I got better during vacation. After contacting TXU electric, I was bumped up to the main offices and the guy actually said he could turn it down from his computer, as others had also complained. What he said was BS I found out after talking to a former company employee who led me to products that are available to reduce the intensity of the output. As we all know, the bigger the company, the better they are at hiding things. For some additional info on the dangers of this kind of radiation dangers, here is a CNN link on what the same frequencies have done to bees: http://www.cnn.com/2010/WORLD/europe/06/30/bee.decline.mobile.phones/index.html

Having your smart meter on an outside wall of your bedroom, I definitely would get some kind of blocking for the radiation. I understand the concerns you have and the need to do something about the problem ASAP. I would too.

The smart meter I have is on a brick wall outside an unused room at the far end of the house. I've never noticed any issues health wise.
I went to take a look at it just now, and I've got a wasp nest hunkered down beside it. I guess nothing affects wasps!

I do worry about bees though and how they are affected by all the radiation issues. That is a huge problem.
