New here and a very chatty person

It's been raining and snowing for two days. Our standard poodle, Koda, tracks in lots of mud. Our 3 month old, Grace, a golden retriever/Labrador retriever is a mudball as she like to dig. I got the pup so I would sit and watch tv less. So, ok, she watches TV with me. Lol.

i joined the forum as I am very socially isolated. I'm don't feel lonely, but I like to "talk" to other people and this should fulfill that need; and hopefully I can make some on-line friends and fulfill their need for a friend as well. I have an opinion on everything.

Like lots of folks I am somewhat disabled by a variety of medical problems with good days and not so good days. Lol, I may tend to whine. My husband was just diagnosed with lung cancer so starting that new journey in health care. Although not entirely new since a son had cancer and has reached the 5 year mark.

i have four children, four grandchildren (not counting the step uninvolved grandchildren), and three beautiful great grandchildren. I am 72. Have a great day!

Im chatty too and somewhat isolated, live alone and only have my dog, Pickles

I lost my husband to cancer but that was long ago...15 years...do know what you are going through though as he did live for 10 years after his diagnosis.

Hi everyone! Thanks for replying to me. We are just getting ready to leave to go shopping. Lol, forgot the dog food yesterday. It's the only reason they love me so got to go get it.

I am in the United States. I don't mention the state because I joined another forum, three years ago, and was tracked down by a couple of people-made me nervous. So I am a bit more careful, I no longer belong to that forum. I joined this today, lol, and yesterday joined a dog forum.

Anyone play World of Warcraft? Been playing it 10 years, total addition. Hehe. But in the game I can fly, on dragons, run, swim, ride on horseback; and do all the things I can no longer do in real life. Anyone else into a computer game?

Thanks for your concern, Hollydolly, but he smoked. He agreed not to smoke if we married, and he still smoked and hid it. Now he gets to pay the price. And, yes, I am a "I told you so" kind of person as is he, but I get to say it much more often. We have been married 47 years. We are very realistic people.

You could not be too chatty! Although pretty sure I can be, lol. What kind of dog do you have?

I try and fill my day with various things but still end up bored at times. Husband still works and we pretty much live separately together-if that makes sense.

Not sure if you are replying to me but if you are...thanks! I have an 11 year old Dachshund and he’s a GOOFBALL. :)

I'm sorry to hear about your husband diagnosis,hope things will get better for him each passing day
I'm a life long dog lover,unfortuantely can't have pets in my apt bldg.
