Never having bothered watching the Kardashians, or any of the "real" housewives.. I am amazed that I am drawn to these shows..

My 600 pound life... Each episode highlights the weight loss journey from 600 pounds to huge wt. losses.

Extreme Weight loss... One person is chosen to receive a personal trainer for one year.. and wt loss followed

My GIANT life... Premiers June 7th and is about people, men and women over 7 feet tall!!

Arranged..... follows the engagement and marriage of couples with arranged marriages

Married at 1st sight.... Follows 3 couples each season who meet for the first time AT THE ALTER!! yikes!!

Anyone else watch any of these?

I have watched a few. Never saw or heard of "Arranged" but sounds interesting.

I think some of us might be drawn to these shows as they show the difficulties that can be overcome and I prefer seeing that rather than something like those Bachelor Shows.

Occasionally, I'll watch My 600# life. It dumbfound's me why their enablers would keep feeding them, knowing they will die if they continue to get bigger. Seek help for them!
Then, when they loose all that weight, all that excess skin has to be surgically removed, which there is another show that they do that on. Month's of re-cooping from that surgery.

I partially watched a season of married at first sight, Cain stomach sitting through it again, no matter how bored I get. I click on these shows once in a blue moon. I do watch the home decorating, reconstruction type shows daily. Really enjoy the show Tiny Houses and Tiny House Nation, not so much Tiny House Hunting. I watch THN, but on that show the title is often misleading especially when they feature mostly condos, apt homes, ranging in prices $200,000 - $600,000 +

HGTV has a great show called "You Live in What?" about people who have turned chicken barns, water towers, bunkers, old churches, cabooses, mills, ferry boats, schools, filling stations, etc. into homes. It's amazing what they have done with some of them.

I used to watch that one a couple of years ago, now I tune in sporadically, it is fascinating to see how the remodels of AA kinds of places most people wouldn't ever think of making into a home structure. I enjoy many of the HGTV shows including property brothers, but I sure do miss the decorating shows they had on their channels same with TLC.

I have watched My 600 pound Life and Property Brothers. I am amazed at how people can lose all that weight. Compared to them I have hardly anything to lose yet I struggle and think it's impossible for me at times. They sure are encouraging. It's a matter of life and death for them. I love the Property Brothers. I like to see what Johnathan does to renovate houses. He's a real pro!

The property brothers have their yearly competition show coming up where they compete against each other to renovate a home at the end of the season the lower usually has to perform some rediculous task. I love the relationship the brothers have the crack me up.

There's another show I watch sometimes, some of the renovations are done by those of people of a more mature age. Texas Flip. The homes are bought at auction really cheap as generally they were going to be demolished to make way for newer developments. The homes have to be lifted off the foundations and relocated for the redos to get done. Kind of amusing, though just a little over staged at times, but still more of fun to watch.
