Instead of dominant media fictional entertainment, most of my adult life I've chosen absorbing science and technology. I'm offering this example of one of the new media ways this is being done below as few other people, much less senior forum folks, ever interact with such science podcasts. In this case, it is an audio only podcast. There is a whole fascinating world to explore for those that bother. Youtube has many as videos one doesn't actually need to be watching where they will occasionally add graphics, to complement audio. Other podcasts like this may be pure audio from a website link.

Is our understanding of light completely wrong? Two consciousness theories go head-to-head; decoding dolphin whistles

One of the greatest physics mysteries for decades has been the seeming particle/wave nature of light. A new revolutionary new idea suggests light is a quantum entangled combination of interactive and non-interactive "dark" photons. In the famous mysterious double slit experiment that results in a wave-like resulting pattern. Listen to the end of this first segment on this podcast between 10:00 and 11:20.

There are 3 segments to this 30 second science podcast. The second segment at 12:15 contains recent results of research between two competing (bun-fight) leading consciousness theories, GWT and IWT, with some interesting clues resulting. Brit, Anil Seth, who supports a more electromagnetic oriented theory as I also lean towards is interviewed.

The last segment updates research on developing understanding of how dolphins communicate that I expect AI will soon rapidly improve. A whole lot more here on Wikipedia. Am going to re-read much of it again as the article is frequently updated.

how are you feeling health wise bye the bye - did I miss any updates on your recent hospital experiences?? seriously bro

This Youtube PBS ~10 minute video by the excellent young professor Matt O'Dowd does a good job of presenting the famous mysterious classic double split particle wave duality experiment related to the above news, without going over lesser's heads.

As I lay semi-prone sitting up today in my upstairs SW bedroom mattress healing, will be watching more science videos. For some, have a constant finger on the video PAUSE icon in order to slowly consider each section else all is not absorbed as it is all too fast. Same way I've always read difficult technical documents, re-reading sections over and over and over before moving on.

Just to be clear of how very little this humble person actually understands at true depth on some of these subjects, I've added the following that is vastly over my head of how 19th Century genius level giants actually derived the key element of what is otherwise glossed over.

The following video if one actually watches the full 40 minutes, is maybe the top YouTube video of the incredible level of physics and math required to even vaguely appreciate without actually understanding or beginning to comprehend the subject matter of what is termed the Ultraviolet Catastrophe. An example of how incredible our human minds if developed have capacity for.

It is key to what had to be overcome to reach a value of Planck's Constant h that is at the core of Quantum Mechanics physics and an understanding of nature in our Universe. Read the positive comments by other physics and math masters to realize how well this incrementally structured synopsis presentation is respected.

What is the Ultraviolet Catastrophe?

In that pre-modern era Maxwell, Lord Rayleigh, Planck, and Bohr, had incredibly developed minds that although like Einstein had high IQ's became so more as a result of their superior math and physics educations plus pollination of being around and collaborating with others. One can go to elite universities for such studies but it requires building up one's mind in conceptional ways beyond merely studying the math and physics. That is what helped Einstein by working as a clerk in a patent office.

When I came of age, the Viet Nam War and its unavoidable draft altered my own life's course. So barely escaped ending up carrying an M16 in some mosquito, leech, and poison snake infested Mekong swamp dodging bullets, Thus I never received that mental educational journey I envy.
