A friend told me about this forum and encouraged me to join. I sure would like to give it a try. Have been on other Senior forums before, but somehow they fell apart. I am a woman. I live in Marietta, Georgia and I teach preschool. I am married and have three grown children and five grandchildren.
 

Glad you joined us pteacher. You hold a very important position .. very challenging and rewarding job at the beginning of school life. .. I've learned a lot about preschool teaching/learning from my two little granddaughters in the past few years.

:welcome: pteacher. Glad you made it. It'll take you awhile to get used to things; so take your time.
There are lots of good folks here to help you and answer any questions you may have.

It will take me awhile to learn how to do things on this forum. For instance, how do you post photos? I see others using graphics other than smileys. How do you include these in your text?

There's a little smiley face above your post window, if you click on that, you'll see some smileys, click on More for the rest of them. Just click on the smiley you want, and it will appear in your post. If you click on Go Advanced under your post, your smileys will be on the right. :happy:
 
Hi Pteacher you know me as well and welcome I know you will love it also you will know a few of us on here..
its a nice forum and has many topics.. it won`t take you long to get into the swing of it ... :)
