Yes, taking name of Leo the 14th
I was watching him speak and greet the crowd and the world. I think he's a good man to follow Pope Francis. I left the Catholic faith in my childhood, don't follow any organized religion, but having a good Pope with a kind heart that is full of love and empathy is definitely a positive for all throughout the world, IMO. He certainly seems qualified and has personal experience with many different people around the world. I wish him well. ā˜®ļø

The Church needs reform. It needs to end clerical celibacy and allow priests to marry, to acknowledge the virtues of birth control, and to ordain women. Recognizing gay marriage and tolerating abortion may be wishful thinking, but it could at least be discussed. Once these structural issues are addressed the Church can take on the larger issues of peace, equality, and compassion.

Wasn't Ratzinger the one with [reported] ties to the Nazi party ?
He was basically conscripted into Hitler Youth: The Wiesenthal Center launched an investigation into Benedict's role in the Third Reich only to discover the Ratzingers came from a family of anti-Nazis, with no hint of antisemitism.

"The fact that he was in the Hitler youth -- if you were a young child during the Third Reich and you didn't go, you'd be condemned," said [Rabbi Marvin] Hier [of the Wiesenthal Center]. "He didn't volunteer. That's not a blemish. We've done a bunch of research, and that should be very clear."
