I know that @moviequeen1 lives in Buffalo. Not sure if others here live in Erie County, NY. So I am going to post this here. It may be happening elsewhere.
It seems to be a scam saying you owe back property taxes, and asks you to call an 800 number. Just be careful. If you get something like this, check with local authorities and do not call any number attached to mailing.
I know we are all pretty scam - aware here. But it is good to share when we hear of new ones.
