I imagine 'the big one' will turn Richmond into a soup and the whole thing will slide into the sea. Especially as within the next 100 years mentioned in the article, the likelihood of Richmond facing disastrously rising seas and being only 3' above sea level today, seems that Richmond and parts of the city of Vancouver are in for a world of hurt when it happens.
