The last time I wore anything that even remotely resembles a suit was the dress uniform that the Army gave me in Oakland, Calif. when I came back from Vietnam.

I don't currently own a suit but for just $1.00 I might be tempted to get one.....I don't think I'd look very good in that fellas socks, shoes or that frilly thing around his neck though.

In 1983, for my first business job, I was able to buy several luxury suits at a garage sale for $8 each. The prior owner was a retired corporate executive. Even then these were $200-$300 suits.

There used to be a men's clothing retailer (can't remember the company name) that sold a coat and trousers for $20 by mail order. You would look like a member of the Spike Jones band but I guess their suits would be OK to be buried in.
