Just saying Hello! I'm at the end of the line of the Baby Boomers, still doing my daily work, house & family stuff ...but I know transition is coming!

Welcome... I see you play a guitar. I dabble with one also. Tell me a little about what you like to play. For me it is folk music from the 1960's. I can read music well because I played in a band from grade school into high school. But I have never taken any lessons on guitar, so I just enjoy fooling around on it. Since the internet became available it has been much easier to learn new songs and proper techniques.

Most importantly, I am retired and get very relaxed when I am playing my classical six string guitar.

I started with steel-string finger picking style. I like electric too... some favorites being Mark Knopfler, Larry Carlton, Jon Herington, Ry Cooder.

This is a good group. Interesting, and quite a bit of fun.
