New Vehicle

Here is Virginia’s Lemon Law. It sounds like I may be able to get a new vehicle or maybe a refund, if the guy from GM can’t fix it. When I wanted to pull out from a dead stop, I had to almost floor the accelerator to get it going. Once the truck was moving, I could let off the gas and then it would operate normally. The one mechanic at another dealership I spoke to said he thinks the main computer system needs replaced or the computer that’s in it now needs a hard reboot.

Back when I worked on cars, there were no computers, so this something new to me.
 

We have an 04 Toyota Tundra, an 04 Chevy Silverado 2500 HD (diesel) for hauling our 5th wheel, and my 2017 Toyota RAV4 Hybrid. All purchased used. Never had any serious problems with any of them and hope to not have to replace them.

The Tundra is in serious need of a paint job, but DH was quoted $7500 :eek: so we'll do some shopping around for that before making a decision.
