New York Times Now Majority Owned By Mexican Billionaire Carlos Slim

Maybe it is a bit like a game of chequers. You just buy up parts of a different countries assets as sort of future security. Of course, it is always going to stick in the throat of the "local natives!" At the moment in Britain, the Kraft takeover of Cadburys chocolate, especially with Easter approaching, isn't going down a barrel of laughs for some!!!

When Kraft Co. Took over our family owned bread company back I the early nineties, it wasn't pretty from there on in. The personal touch, from our old owners, disappeared almost over night. We were now a number only in a huge organization. Before: Great benefits. After: You'll get what everyone else gets, like it or not.
Thank God I only had about eight years to go before I retired.

I'm afraid your Cadbury takeover won't be pretty.
