I turned 70 last year, but my wife and I retired when we were 63. We are enjoying our retirement and so far, have been blessed with good health. We raised three kids who are now married. They have blessed us with six grandkids ranging in age from 25 to 5.

We enjoy travel, although have not traveled since the covid hit! We hope to get on with it this year! I will share more as I get a better feel for this forum.

Wow, greetings from a real diverse group of folks. I can tell already that I am going to like this forum......let me comment on a couple of questions/ comments that came up.

Both my wife and I are originally from Colorado. My wife lived in Denver until we got married. I too was born in Denver, but our family moved to a small mountain town in Colorado when I was 5 until I was 13. Gowing up in the mountains in the 1950's and early 1960's was a boy's dream. Those years had a big influence on the rest of my life. In 1964 my family moved to Colorado Springs where I attended high school. My wife and I met at a small college in Oklahoma, fell in love and got married. That was a little less then 52 years ago.

As far as travel plans and locations past and present, I will post something on that at another time, after I think about it for a while...

I noticed on the posts above that a couple of you have an 'interest' in time. I had a teacher in college that also was somewhat obsessed with the concept of time. I don't remember a lot other than she wasted no time in class and you better be on time, or you would miss part of her lecture and may be embarrassed by her rather sharp tongue.

Thanks for the nice welcome...
