The President's Day Mattress Sales are really big attractions, I have to admit! Just bought a new one last year and not on President's Day, so I lost interest in their 20 million ads. (LOL)

Most of the others you mentioned are just days the family gets together and I don't have to work. Also, I bought your b'day gift ages ago, so that's covered. You can see I am definitely on top of things here!

George Washington is rolling in his grave with joy over the big sales in his honor. Thanks for my birthday gift. Sure hope it's a new mattress . . . !

No, my dear, can't be put it on one political party, as almost all of them had their babes, with Clinton and Kennedy certainly being the most well known. The others were far more discreet, but they had them! (Reagan, Carter and Dubya being the only exceptions that I know of, or they hid them very well. I love Geo Bush, Sr., but he had his honey for yrs who was a journalist and, no, I can't prove it, but my g/f was dating a producer from 60 minutes at the time and knew the story. Barbara probably didn't care one way or the other and neither do the rest of us!)
