We went to a thanksgiving get together Thursday at Ron’s daughter’s house with all his family, then we had Thanksgiving at our house yesterday with my kids and grands. Both were a lot of fun, great food and company.
Today I get to decorate for Christmas!! My favorite time of the year and my favorite thing to do all combined into one fun package!
We’ll blast Christmas music, the dog will steal things from the open Christmas boxes and we’ll chase him around to retrieve them, Ron will patiently haul the ladder around the house as I instruct him where to put up the various garlands etc.
Tonight we’ll have a delicious meal of thanksgiving leftovers..they always taste better the second day..then tomorrow we’ll head to our most favorite breakfast restaurant for brunch. After that I’ll do a leisurely bit of Christmas shopping while Ron, while
He works on the Harley.
I love long weekends like these where we get to see all the family and have a fun time together but there’s still lots of time left to relax and recoup for the coming week!

Our neighborhood turkeys apparently didn’t get the memo so they showed up a couple days late for Thanksgiving!
