Do you think this is a really good solution for driving at night, or just a scam? I don't drive at night very much, but the headlights of oncoming cars can bother me, especially the newer brighter bluish headlights. Do you have a pair of these, and if you do, can you tell us how they are? Page with video HERE.

I don't know about these specific glasses, but there are several options that cut down on night vision glare from oncoming headlights...and most of them are probably somewhat effective. I've worn glasses pretty much all my adult life, and I get the Crizal option with my glasses, and that seems to work quite well. It looks like these glasses are reasonably priced...at $30...so they might be worth a try. Look for any reviews on the Net from people who have bought them, as that is usually a pretty good indicator of how well they work.

Right now I don't wear prescription glasses, but I may need them soon, still on the 1.75 readers. But I'll research the Crizal option when I do, but like I say I rarely drive in the dark, not for long periods of time anyway. Those glasses reminded me of the Blu Blocker sunglasses they sold back in the day. Those were fun to wear at first, but I soon tired of the yellow color and how they made everything look.

I get several options with my glasses....titanium frames, thin polycarbonate lenses, with no line bifocals, Crizal anti-glare, scratch resistant coating, and "saddle" nose pieces. I tried the "auto-darkening" lenses...once...but gave that up, as it took several minutes for the "sunglass" coating to return to normal when I came back indoors....instead, I just keep clip-on sunglasses in the cars, etc., and use them when outdoors/driving during the day.

Another option are these Bell and Howell "tactical glasses" that are often advertised on TV. One of the Son-in-laws bought a pair, and he says they work

I bought a pair of those "night glasses" at the As Seen on TV Store in the mall. $12, maybe $15 if I remember correctly and they did nothing for my night blindness/glare problem. Either they were worthless glasses or I'm out of luck.

I've pretty much given up driving at night now, unless it is a short distance and I absolutely know the route like the back of my hand.

I've been wanting a decent pair of sunglasses with a glass lense, I used to have a pair of Serengheti's that I liked a lot.....but now, they all seem to have those poly plastic lenses. My newest pair is the Serengheti brand but the glare is so bad just walking on a sunny day that I have to wear a ball cap for the shade of the brim....and I absolutely hate to wear hats.
