Nine things in the Harry Potter movies that Americans thought were magic....

I don't go ga-ga over movie stars or personalities because I know that both the movie and its actors are all fiction for the moment. So I don't recognize an exclusive 'magic' in them nor any style that is particularly one nationality or another's. The only characteristic that is definitely British to me is their often thick accent. All Brits are the same to me whether Scottish, Welsh, English, or Cockney. It is all rather indistinguishable. But that is true for American accent as well, whether nassil New Yorker or Texas drawl or country twang it all is tough to listen to and if too over done then not worth my energy trying to understand it at all.

I only saw one Harry Potter movie and it was entertaining in the moment, but I did not develop any urgent need for more or to become a follower. It was definitely more a kid's theme.
