We retired two years ago, traveled across to Oregon in our RV and back through AZ. Wonderful country we live in.

We live in an over 55 community for two months now with lots of clubs and activities however I choose not to participate ..... Im not old!!! Still finding my way but found this forum and maybe it will help. Happy Holidays!!

Lonnie, welcome to the forum. I grew up in Oregon, but left in '85. Beautiful country and I still miss it, rain and all. We retired two years ago as well, to the Ozarks. Please visit the forum often! :)
 
I'm a senior who feels anything but senior. Having moved from NY to West Palm Beach, Florida about 16 years ago, I now live in "slow" Ocala. At least that's what it is called. My loves are art, reading and of course, writing. Ocala boasts some wonderful restaurants, a museum and a Civic Theatre where performances rival broadway.

My husband and I have 8 grandchildren between us, and we miss them. Our trips are mainly to Charleston, SC, where his family lives, and to CT where my own grandsons live.

I still miss family and at times wish I still had some cold weather here, but I must admit the sunshine is awesome.

Happy to be here with all of you, and I look forward to sharing.
