No bath powder in store

I went looking for my usual bath powder in the local store where I always used to get it. I couldn't find it, so I asked the check-out girl about it. She stared at me and said incredulously, "Talcum powder? I never heard of that." This girl was probably no older than 23, with tats and piercings all over her visible body. I got no satisfaction and she didn't offer to help me find it or call the manager, either. But I've found out in this store, that usually doesn't help much. The manager just says "If it's not on the shelf, then we don't have it."

What is it with these young folks that they don't know what talcum powder. I bet they know what kind of powder nose candy is!

Yes,it has definitely been proven that talcum powder can cause ovarian cancer. I`ll bet that`s why your store doesn`t carry it.

I am reminded of one morning my husband had a craving for a bran muffin. So, he stopped at the Dunkin Donuts that was on his way to work. Went through the drive through, figuring he'd order a muffin and a coffee and be on his way. The server had NO CLUE what a bran muffin was.

Marie, about a year ago I was in the drug store (one that sells household products) and asked if they had spray starch. The clerk looked at me quite puzzled, "What is that?" she said. We have to remember that many of them do not know what an iron is or what they are used for, hahaha!
