From my perspective, it seems people are either over-reacting or minimizing their concern. There is no conservative yet sensible reaction.

No one knows what the long term implications of this virus will be. Those who take it seriously are watching the news, and following the guidelines for remaining reasonably safe. Personally, I am more interested in keeping up with reports from those most closely involved....medical news, etc., than anything that might appear in goofy venues like Facebook or Twitter.

IMO it's a simple case of the silent majority.

The majority of people are taking it seriously without making much noise about it.
