No takers on ginger beer

I had the good fortune to come into possession of a dozen cans of ginger beer. I thought I'd be a nice person and share my bounty with the weekly Bible study I attend. Well, the others only saw the BEER on the can label and wouldn't take it. I emphatically stated it was a non-alcoholic soft drink like ginger ale. They still refused it. How pious can you get? All I can say is "All the more for me!"

or get some Goslings Rum....make a Dark & Stormy.
Then invite me.
Goslings is one of the best Ginger Beers. I explain it to people by saying a "stronger flavored ginger ale" which it is.

Yes, please! A Moscow Mule is one of my favorite summer libations and I wouldn't turn down a Dark & Stormy!

I love ginger beer, I made my own once, but the tops blew off the bottles. I saw some in the supermarket so I bought a bottle for old times sake but it was so watered down it didn't have the right taste.

The best brands are Gosling, but it is not always easy to find. In my opinion, the second best is Fever Tree, it's available in a lot of supermarkets.

What a cute graphic on the can! I bought some ginger beer and it was much too strong for me. I got some because they stopped making Hansen's Cane Soda. I'm outraged. I'm not a health nut but avoid high fructose corn syrup and it's really hard to find soda without it.

Pepsi makes a real sugar one but I don't always want caffeine. I tried the zero Calorie Bubly, not bad. Flavors only, no sweetener. And Spindrift Seltzer is good.
