Lon. My friend said that Fresno cut off its water supply for 8 hours ! She said that she was filling her bathtub with water

for "flushing" and many other containers for water. (I think it was yesterday.)

How did YOU make out in that situation ? We take water for granted but it's no fun when you don't have any !

WHY was the water cut-off ?

Texas only has one natural lake [near Louisiana border.]

Without all the man-made lakes in this Dallas/Ft Worth area we couldn't have 7 million people !

We live in the country so are on well water.
About ten years ago our well collapsed and we couldn’t get anyone out to fix it until springtime. That made it 6 months without water. My husband had to travel 30 minutes to our closest springfed underground stream and fill up containers full. We boiled water for cleaning dishes and had to take baths in large plastic bins. Luckily I’m not a big woman or I would not have fit but MORE IMPORTANTLY, my husbands lucky that I’m an understanding women.
And yes we do take water for granted.,

No problem in my building Falcon. It's probably just a neighborhood thing where CC lives.

Are you talking about me? I didnt have to fill my bathtub with water....water wasn't cut off in Fresno....where are you getting this misinformation???
 
I too have a well. When the power goes out there is no water. I always have a bucket of water (for flushing) and recycled bottles filled with water set aside.

You started it, making up a story that I had no water in Fresno....you started this whole made up post. Can't believe you're still insisting I said that.

That was NEVER said anywhere....quit wasting my time. Quit insisting I said something I never said. Fresno's water was never cut off!

It was Arthurs water in Canada....what don't you understand????
