As a great fan of British crime series,Nordic TV series are the only ones that come close (Some better) to the way they are written and acted, have not seen a bad one yet. Ok they all have subtitles (English) but after a minute or so watching they are not a distraction, in fact, can be helpful not like the occasional British ones when finding accents hard to understand. Might not be everyone's cup of tea but for suspense and edge of your seat stuff just brilliant.
