in 2009 the Norweigian Broadcasting Corporation started a series called Slow TV, and now Netflix has added some of the episodes that have been edited for length. It's an interesting concept. Some of the episodes are travel related, and some are home fireplaces and knitting.
I've only watched the 1100 mile Hirtigruten Nordnorge ship trip (from 2011) up the west coast of Norway (from Bergen to Kirkenes), and it was really amazing. Although it's beyond my travel budget, it made me want to book a trip to see it in person. Next up I'll be watching some of the train trips.
