Nose and face metal piercing

IDK. When I was sixteen nose piercings first became popular and I thought I wanted a nose stud because it would be colorful and attractive. Before I took the plunge I glued a broken jeweled earring stud to the side of my nose where the piercing would go to see how it would look. It looked awful. I was so glad I hadn't done anything permanent to my face. Personally, I was a young teen who wanted to look more attractive. I'm not sure why young girls today have so many metal face and nose piercings. BF has only grandsons. IDK if they want to attract or forbid.
 
Why do young women wear nose and mouth rings? Itā€™s a personal choice which they make for themselves. Some women and men decide that jewelry looks good on them so decide to get body piercing. My sister in law has a tiny diamond nose ring and it suites her. Itā€™s not that noticeable.Some people donā€™t even notice it. I think it looks attractive but donā€™t want one myself. I see a lot of women with face jewelry and it doesnā€™t bother me at all. I might not like all of it but itā€™s not my body or my business and I like to keep it that way.

I remember sitting at a table in Whole Foods about 15 years ago, munching on a burrito, when a young woman sat down across from me. She had what looked like stalactites hanging from her nose. To her credit, she did ask if I minded sharing my table, and I lied, saying it was fine. That being said, I think she became annoyed with me because I refused to look at her.
 
Wait until Apple introduces its piercings product line. Not only will the sheep line up around the corner for the hardware, not only will they happily replace obsolete "devices" every few years, but the Three Letter Agencies around the world will have one more pipeline of data about you sent directly to them. Nothing like a "secure" (wink, wink) Apple product!
 
I've encountered many women who have piercings... ears, beside a nostril, nose ring, and other locations. Maybe the more subtle, minor forms can seem attractive to me... maybe. But in any case, I've gotten to the place where I look in their eyes and see the person.

It's true, some (not all) women with piercings seem to be trying to make a rather defiant statement to the world.

Granted, as with any person, pierced or not, the person may or may not be interesting to me. May or may not be someone I feel any affinity with. Actually, DW and I met one woman (mid 30s) who has an unconventional hair style, well-rendered tattoos (below her face), and a piercing or twoā€”and she soon impressed us as an intelligent, amiable, even sweet individual. Now it's normal for us to regard her as a creative craftsperson, someone possessing an independent mind. And a reliable, helpful friend.

Personal decision, they don't need excuses or motives. Nobody's business but their own. There are many things in this world that some think are beautiful and some think are ugly, we are all individuals and have our own opinions. I look at the person inside, and don't judge how they wish to dress or adorn their own bodies. Tolerance = ā˜®ļø.
 
When I worked on the farm and our bulls had nose rings put in, I couldnā€™t watch after I saw how it was done to our first bull.
I think the farm where I worked as a high school kid was sold and they are into using artificial insemination on their breeding herds. I know they still have at least 1 bull that is used to protect the heifers.

I ask as those bulls are not to be messed with .
