Just before Y2K I went into work and was talking about how to protect a home better from whatever evils might be awaiting.
A friend asked me “Why would you want to be the only ones alive if everybody else is dead. If you can’t walk out of your house without there being death all around.”
That was when I quit taping the windows.
Sooner or later the evils of the world would even affect the very richest.
After all it takes thousands of normal people so that the rich can live like rich people.
Otherwise Bill Gates would have to ring the neck of a chicken when he’s hungry.
