I saw on the news tonight a story about a young man who was attack by a grizzly bear AND a white shark, all within a 3 month period.

He was sleeping in his tent, at a Christian gathering, in The Rockies, when a grizzly bear grabbed him by his head and started to drag him off into the woods.

This week, while on vacation in Hawaii, he was attacked by a white shark.

Both times he was able to fight the animals off.

Both times he was taken to the hospital, treated and released.

Truth can indeed be stranger than fiction.
 

I agree it was a bad year for the guy for sure, but he's lucky to be alive to talk about it and had the strength and will to fight them off. Good for him!
 
This poor guy reminds me of a Johnny Carson episode. Johnny had an old guy as a guest and he told about being hit by lightning 5-6 times. All confirmed. the old guy said he thought somebody was trying get his attention. he said, "Hey, I'm listening. Just stop with the lightning".
After the last strike the poor old guy gave up and moved into a basement apartment. He said. "If there's a cloud in the sky, I never go outside".
