My daughter was one to promote stuff like that. She used to give talks around the city about urban farming. It would work if people wouldn't end up tearing the trees down to get at the fruit. As it is, we seem to have a destructive element to our nature that can't be tamed. Yes I know, you wouldn't do something like that, and neither would I, but it only takes a few to ruin something. No I don't have a good opinion of my fellow man. "Good Lord, look at all this rotten fruit littering the sidewalk! They need to cut down those trees!" You know what I'm talking about. People. Instead of bending over and putting the fruit into a garbage can they will walk by complaining, send letters to the city, visit and yell and swear at city council meetings.
