Now here is something a little different. Apparently they have found dozens of viruses in the glaciers. Also now we have satelites crashing into othe

Not long ago I watched a documentary about what happens to satellites. The theory was that they would come crashing down on earth but there’s that gravity thing. The cloud of debris orbiting the earth sounds more logical.

Interesting find Lakeland 👍

If memory serves me correctly there was a satellite that crashed in northern Canada years ago.
Kosmos 954
Kosmos 954 was a reconnaissance satellite launched by the Soviet Union in 1977.Wikipedia
The crash was not what they were worried about, the fuel it used was radio active.

Every country has popped so much up in space that we will have more and more falling back to earth as time goes on. They say "most" of it burns up before getting to land. Yeah but nobody wants their house or yard to the be the one where the one stray piece happens to hit! It would be nice if they would use the pieces as target practice for our anti-meteorite system. And blast them before they get into the atmosphere.

Oct 29, 2019 · Actually only USA has about 560 satellites in orbit . But the truth is that right now there are 2,271 satellites in orbit around the Earth. Russia has the most satellites in orbit (1,324 satellites), followed by the USA with 658 satellites.
