Now is the time of year for Thrifters

I rarely go to thrift stores - have plenty of stuff already and am pretty well past the acquisition phase of my life and well into the purging phase. No need for more dishes or anything that needs dusting.

The exception is when I'm in the Palm Springs/ Palm Desert area every year or so. Angel View thrift stores are large, have reasonably good prices and are an interesting way to spend an hour or so.

You got a great buy. Those are valuable. My mother left behind a "Desert Rose" pattern set, which is similar.
Yes, i also have some Franciscan Desert Rose, and I dearly love it. My mother had some that she got way before I was even born, when it was being made in California and they lived there.
Later, I found pieces in thrift shops and yard sales and added to my collection. My husband made me a china cabinet to store them in, and they will pass on to my children when I am gone.
