Now That You Are Retired Do You Still Have A Favorite Day?

Every week I lose track of what day it is and/or the correct date (not that it matters). Monday was my favorite day when I was working because my work week was choked full of surprises.

Sunday as I still see it as a "day of rest". Most Sundays I attend church. Then I just spend the day relaxing. I may read, watch a favorite movie or just something simple. The only chores I do are daily ones like cooking and cleaning up after myself

Every day that I wake up is my favorite day. I tend to prefer weekdays, for going anywhere, as weekends are usually quite crowded....traffic, etc.

Ditto...I like Tuesdays' I kinda feel like I can relax after the weekend stuff, and also for going anywhere the traffic on the roads seem much lighter on that particular day

Since retirement it can be any day for me ....

Monday,Tuesday and Friday are my favorites. Wednesday I usually grocery shop and Thursday i clean the house. The weekends tend to be a bit noisy from yard work equipment and kids home from school.

I bought a 'retirement clock' a couple yrs before I retired. The 2nd hands show the days of the week,so I haven't really lost track of what day it is
My favorite mornings are Thurs&Fri where I volunteer in business office at my church Tues twice/month I volunteer at another organization I belong to doing office work which I enjoy.

As long as I still, wake up, each day I don’t have a favourite day ...no wait no that’s not correct Tuesday’s cause that’s afternoon dance day .it’s getting colder at nights so I don’t feel, like going out dancing, but afternoons are good

Every day seems pretty much the same. Mrs. L and I often have to ask each other what day it is. I don't think anyone round the village goes to church and the larger stores are open all day Sunday just as usual. So, to answer your question, every day that Mrs L and I are together and we still have good health, is my favourite day.

The bin men come round early on Fridays.

I like any day that's a regular workday. That way I can go places and they aren't as crowded because all the working schmucks are stuck at their jobs. Then on weekends and holidays I prefer to stay at home.

I drive our grand-daughter to high school each day, and pick her up in the afternoon. That keeps me straight on what day of the week it is, at least during the school year.

Other than that, I prefer the week-days for the same reason as many of you. Less people out and about, in stores or on the roads.
