What's with all the pickles you Brits use in your cooking? Seems like everytime I read a book about what the English are eating it will contain pickles. Now, I do like pickles myself, but there is a limit to with what and in what. :unsure:

The Russians may be a contender in the Pickle Stakes, now that I think of it.

You, sir, have a refined sense of train watching. To that end, your pie was a reminder of my favorite railroading repast - baked ham, turkey, swiss, bacon, L-T-O, mayo, pickles and honey mustard on Italian bread. It is purchased at a local deli and packed for the ride.

Picture was taken at the Palmer, MA, railroad station, which although closed at the time, cannot make a sandwich as good as this. The sandwich pairs well with a local short line.
