The NSA won a federal court appeal reversing an injunction on mass data collection.

The lawsuit is still in play. Based on a Verizon Wireless customer lawsuit for Verizon turning records over to NSA.

The lead lawyer is also correct saying these federal judges are kissing the establishment's butt-as most do. It's all about the status quo which means these judges are more worried about their robe wearing butts and status in life than your privacy.

I look on the NSA as trying to secure our safety, whether it is security lines at airports, drone surveillance or data collections......its the price we pay in today's world, I for one am glad they are there.

The NSA's job is to help secure the US including laws and way of life that includes some privacy. If the government is ignoring one the things they are supposedly trying to protect it is a contradiction. It's never prudent to give anyone a blank check literally and figuratively.

Mass data collection did not prevent the Ft Hood shootings, the Boston Marathon bombings, The Texas Gallery attack etc. Nor did mass data collection in other countries prevent the recent Paris train attack.
