I have been watching the docu-series NY Confidential on Amazon Prime. There are 5 episodes, covering areas of NYC. Manhattan, Bronx, Harlem, Queens and Brooklyn. It covers the people, cultures and what makes each borough unique. Goes in to the ethnic diversity, how the areas have changed over the generations, from the point of views of the people who live there, not the touristy, guidebook look at the city. It is amazing the pride all the people have in where they live.
It is hard for me to describe, but it really gives the viewers a look in to the heart and soul of each area. I just finished the Harlem segment, and found it interesting in how the area has changed.
