Though never convicted, I saw where 83% of whites and 57% of blacks now believe he got away with murder, myself included.
Hopefully he'll screw up again and get another 9 years.....get out, screw up and get another nine.....get out, screw up and get another nine.....etc.
He belongs behind bars for life for murder.
ITA with your last statement and I don't think the jury would have convicted him with film of the entire rage. If anyone saw the 5 part ESPN Documentary, we were reminded of the horrendous L.A. riots and prejudices, so affecting their decision at the time.
Still, to this day, when someone says he was framed or wrongfully accused, I immediately turn off to them. Can't help it. When your own friends agree he did it, and with a granule of common sense, you know....not to mention his actions going forward. I'm so glad he ended up where he needed to be for whatever reason. Money and fame spoke way too loudly in the first trial.
