I read that the oarfish, if seen anywhere other than
its own habitat, (the deep sea), is seen as a harbinger
of doom, the latest one was found on a beach on an
island off the West Coast of Australia.
Ultra rare 'Harbinger of Doom' fish washes up on Australian beach
Earlier this year, in February, another one was washed
up on Lanzarote, in the Canary Islands, prior to that
there was one in Mexico.
'Doomsday' fish found in Canary Islands sparks fears of disaster
If they are a hint of what is to come, I wonder what that
might be, are they true, forecasters, or myths?
We will only have to wait and see.
