Oat milk is a new one "on me"

I just went thru a half gallon of oat milk, I tried it because it's low in fat and it said "organic" on the box. lol. It was just ok, but nothing I will continue buying, it was watery and kind of an odd color.

I've tried Almond milk...like

wouldn't think oat milk would be very sweet
I've had to try lots of substitutes, and things like this,
since I have extremely limited food/beverage options, due to disabilities.....
so I find that the oat "milk" is fine, or passable, if you need something like it.

If they've added sweeteners to it, or not, they're the same effect as those same sweeteners that are added or not, to the other similar but different alternatives.
Sweet with them, or not, without anything added. Check ingredients on any cartons.

They can call themselves milk all they like, but they're not. The packaging should say non-dairy milk substitute.

I'm old school, I guess. I like real milk. From real cows. 1% preferably. 🐮 But I must confess, one time I used almond coffee creamer and it was pretty good!

My staples are organic grass-fed cow's milk and organic grass-fed heavy cream. The non-dairy milks that I prefer and use are organic whole coconut milk, canned rather than carton, hemp, and cashew. I haven't tried oat milk yet. I avoid all manner of soy products.
