I feel for you! In 2012 my husband fell from a ladder in the garage and shattered his left ankle. His foot was not attached to the bone. He had surgery within hours to try to save his foot. Luckily it was saved but he had 3 more surgeries within a 10 week period because of infection. It took months to heal. It was a mess. He has had to wear a specially made leather brace to keep that ankle from any twisting or movement but at least he has his foot. Good luck.

Surgeon was pleased with the progress of healing.
X Rays show new bone at the fracture site. No movement of bone. All is as it should be at this stage of recuperation.
Able to start mild weight bearing.
Hydro therapy tomorrow.
Next review in 6 weeks.
