Oh for pity sake, there's an aluminum can shortage.

Dave likes a particular brand of soda in a can. We were in HEB today and he was informed that due to a shortage of aluminum cans, he could only buy one 12-pack. AND we were in Sam's also, and he needed those Breathe Right strips, and there was a limit of one! That's just goofy.

We still have limits on some things.

I understand what the store is attempting to do but it does make life more difficult for people with large families that simply need more of an item than a single person or couple.

I haven't noticed any shortage or rationing of beer or soda in my area.

Today I couldn't find Febreze or similar products and pork sausage was in limited supply.

Many facets of our entire consumer "supply chain" are in various stages of disruption. Several areas of manufacturing are having issues, and delivery service to the stores are quite "spotty". Everything in the Agriculture sector...from the farms to the stores....is having problems. Some manufacturers have switched to supplying PPE items, and medical equipment.
This virus has turned our economy upside down...40+million unemployed, and interruptions of all types of consumer items. Until there is a return towards "normal", we can expect to see empty spaces on the shelves for all sorts of items.
As more and more processing plants are having to shut down, or revamp their operations, we can expect things like meat to become increasingly expensive.

that's an amusing co-incidence.. plenty Fabreze and pork sausages here.. I bought those 2 items today. In fact the pork sausages I got were ones I hadn't seen before..Pork with Caramelized onion...
We've been told that there will be a shortage of Toys... *shrugs* I know not why but then it won't affect me....🄳

One good thing is that fuel is at an all time low here, as it is everywhere .. I filled up today at 99p per litre.. I haven't seen that price in years..

Exactly. It is all about broken supply chains. Thanks for posting this accurate depiction of the new normal reality. It will take time and we may have to adapt and 'get by' with what is available. The limits are set to be 'fair.'
