You’ve heard my story before, I wake up from 30 yr psychosis age 55. Put myself together, started work and community college part time. Found out I was intelligent, deans list, graduated with honors, phi theta kappa, founder and president of first successful Active Minds Chapter in a two-year college. ActiveMinds@TC3.

Enrolled into Bible College for two years, transferred to SUNY Empire College, graduated BAS Human Services. Volunteered Chaplains Aide County Hospital, County Jail Ministry, and County Correctional Facility Chaplaincy internship.

Employment: alcohol, substance abuse counselor, Peer Support Mental Health facility 38 bed single room occupancy residency for moderate-severe symptomatic mental illness. I retired 2021, 16 glorious years of virtually symptom free life and living. That’s it.

Unlike many people, I have not lived a full life and I regret every moment I lost to mental illness. I could have done so much more if only I had the time. Life is what it is, good, bad or indifferent. No one’s responsible not me, not god,
