Old cigars boxes cardboard-market for/collectable? Repair/taping lid change value?

Came across several old cardboard cigar boxes. Some might be collectible. One the lid has become completely separated from wear. Would taping with a clear tape make unsellable? Have some heavy duty clear packing tape. I think either way I'll repair because old cigar boxes make for handy storage on somethings.

Collectors want items that are as close to original condition as possible, regardless of what the item being collected happens to be . Your cigar boxes sound like they are not worth much, due to condition problems. Do a Goggle search for "collectible cigar boxes websites ". JImb.
