Old stuff on your porch?

Small porch, no stuff, unless you count the mail which I don't bring in everyday. I have all the bills set up on autopay, so I don't get it in everyday, The amount of junk mail I get just aggravates me. I still have to go thru to make sure of what it is. Hard copies of bills are marked paid and filed. I do go thru the grocery circulars and coupons. Then there is the ten pounds of trash, I must deal with. Quit sending it, I did not ask for it, you are just wasting money. I will call who I want, when I want to buy or start a service! Has anyone used junk mail to buy something or do something?

Oh, Connecticut! I'll bet your porch is beautiful!
Love to see it!
(what a porch SHOULD look like!)
See, My tastes are ole West and primitive stuff.
My porch is a very small place in my condo building. Nothing glamorous. It holds two plain outdoor chairs and a small outdoor table.

My snowshovel is hidden in a corner of my back deck.

But yes, there are still many farmhouses and old Vics with those sweeping old fashioned porches.

Your porch is in the Old West so, old west is as it should be! I bet it's beautiful.

Nope, Just homey!

This is mine. The red door is the next door neighbor's. I am standing in my own doorway.

Not these days, but when we first moved to Dallas I received a mailer from a dental practice. I responded.

The office is in a terrible part of town, and they frequently finance dental work for patients who can't afford to pay outright. My dentist has had a string of luxury cars, from BMW's to Range Rovers, but as much as I would like to think he is a shyster he is actually a really good dentist and his staff is also great. I've been happy with all the work they've done.

Now that we are established in Dallas, I rely on referrals through friends rather than junk flyers I receive in the mail. And that's pretty much all I receive these days.

As funny as it sounds I am on my third dentist, as the older ones retire they would bring in the new guy that was buying the practice. They worked along side the new guy to make sure they were handing their patients off to a good dentist. No complaints so far and I don't think I will be here to see the next new guy.

@Gaer, love your porch. What direction does it face? Ideal for enjoying sunrise or sunset.
